Restaurants?!

Question: Do any fast food places have veggie burgers? I know burger king does but does anywhere else? Cuz now when I go to like a fast food place I don't know what to eat cuz I can't eat meat. What else is there to eat at fast food places besides like salads.

Today is 1 month since I've been vegetarian! Sorry just wanted to share cuz I'm proud of myself. lol

Congratulations – you’re correct – more options will help you succeed in continuing a healthy diet.

I can only eat so many salads and veggie burgers.

A link is provided below for Vegetarian & Vegan Options at Fast Food Restaurants

I know subway does.. there are good but nothing to write home about.. and like you said BK does..

and good for you you should be proud of yourself!! good job!

EDIT: McDonald's put beef flavoring in their fries..

Sorry Adam.. i have never been to the UK.. nor visited the UK.. and the LAST place i would go in the UK is to McDonald's.. so sorry on that part.. and you never let me respond to your "nice" little letter you wrote me either.. why is that i wonder??

Go with Fries and a Milkshake! & Potatoes at Wendy's are pretty good too!

nope sadly burger king is the only.
but you can always get a salad, or french fries
just not mc donalds french fries because there fried in patty oil.
:)

Congrats bb.

Dairy Queen has a veggie burger.

Mac Donalds used to but I think they stopped it, which is good cause it was terrible. It was normally uncooked when you got it and they always served it with barbque sauce. YUK

At some places (like In N Out) you can request a veggie burger and you get lettuce, cheese, tomato and onion on a bun. Pretty tasty

hey Katie, I am proud of you too! - Thank you. Now just don't go back to the darkside! lol heheheh.

Again, proud on you!

Congrats on reaching the one-month mark!

I'm not sure about fast food restaurants, but lots of chain restaurants offer veggie burgers. They include Bennigan's, Cheers, Denny's, Johnny Rockets, and Ruby Tuesday (and more). Check out this site for a convenient guide to vegetarian food at chain restaurants: http://www.vegcooking.com/ChainRestauran...

taco bell has a lot of vegetarian options, they don't use lard or meat products hidden in foods so you can just order something with no meat and you can eat.

First of all, its not that u cant eat meat, you choose not to.

Anyways.
- BK veggie burger
- Fries, baked potato, poutine
-Any sub shop veggie sub or wrap
-Veggie pita at a pita pit, or other pita place
-Egg mcmuffin, or other breakfast sandwich with just egg and cheese (if you eat eggs that is)
-Mcdonalds sells a grilled cheese, fruit and yogurt parfet, fruit and walnut salad
- Egg salad sandwich at tim hortans
- Garden and ceaser side salads at most fast food burger places
- Ice cream sudae, mcflurry, blizzard, milkshake, ice caps

Good for you!!!!!

About vegetarian burgers... well... you will forget them when time passes... it's just a phase... out there... I wouldn't trust... most "vegetarian" burgers contains riboflavin and whey... ingredients coming from animals...

If you need to eat out... Subway has the Veggie Max thing (it's vegetarian, and if you decide to go vegan, it's good too, it's what I get)

Ethical restaurants are easy to have several vegetarian dishes (most of them easy to "veganize")

Also... you always can have a cheese pizza... that's vegetarian too.

Congratulations, Katie, on reaching your first month's milestone. Yeah, I can remember the feeling, too, of counting the time since I became vegetarian.

I don't know where you are located, but I'll send you the link, anyways, to VegDining.com, which has ben very helpful for me since I became vegetarian four years ago. I hope this helps you, too:

Good luck, and here's a toast to your second month! >-i
