Would you say that restricting yourself to a daily maximum of 12 pieces of fruit / vegetables (contd.)?!
Answers: Would you say that restricting yourself to a daily maximum of 11 pieces of fruit / vegetables and 1 serving of nuts, and eating no other type of food, is an unhealthy way to lose weight, for an adult female weighing 155 lbs.?
I watched a little snippet of this documentary where the people were made to eat like Gorrillas. The ate the equivalent of 10 or more pounds a day of raw fruits, veg, and nuts and they concluded that they were very healthy after the two or three week period.
I don't know, however, if it's best for long term health and weight loss.
i watched something on that and its supposed to be very healthy if you have the will power
You should try to ease yourself into the diet - however, only do it if you are really serious about continuing even after you have lost weight. It can really work well for some people, but most of the time, when they go back to cooked foods, they have health issues, so if you're committed to sticking with it for a long while, it might be the right thing for you. Do some research on the web. I would especially recommend this website:

There are really some interesting and helpful tips on there. Good luck and make this choice rashly!
Yes.
Crash diets begin the boomerang. You might loose weight, but MORE will come back.
Our bodies are simple machines with two modes: Feast or Famine. If you are feasting - eating often - then your body will not store weight. If you cut your calories your body goes into famine mode and stores everything you eat. And after you stop dieting it continues to store in the event of another famine.
The very best way to drop excess baggage is to start out by having MORE food. Rather than the average two meals a day - have 6 smaller meals a day.
Fiber literally picks up fat and carries it out of your body. Increase the amount of fresh fruits and veggies to as much as you want. Fiber is very filling but will shuttle through you quickly.
If you're going to eat nuts, eat RAW nuts and soak them for at least 20 minutes first to release the enzyme inhibitors. This makes them easier to digest and more bioavailable.
Also, take to drinking green tea. It will help. Don't buy sugar laden bottled stuff. Make it fresh from loose leaf or bags.
Begin walking - a LOT. It's the easiest way to boost your metabolism.
