Pregnant liberal vegetarian in need of recipes? advice?!

Question: Hi guys,
I'm a newly converted pregnant vegetarian (changed in the midst of my pregnancy), ... didn't think they contradicted each other until people's responses keep saying, 'what? while you're pregnant, i hope you get your nutrients, etc'

so....any pregnant vegetarians on here? with some great recipes, or maybe a website for woman like us.

I'm a liberal vegetarian meaning I STILL eat all dairy products, and fish. usually eat portabello mushrooms when i miss my meat textures.

Well, you're gonna have to see a nutritionist,us rookies here aren't really equipped enough for this. But I do say make sure you are getting enough protein and calcium!!

You're not really a vegetarian - after all, you're still eating fish, and that contradicts the whole 'no eating animals' part of vegetarianism. Since you're still eating fish as well as dairy, there aren't any nutrients you're not getting just for the fact that you don't eat red meat or poultry anymore. You're probably being far more healthy by cutting out all the cholesterol laden meats from your diet; don't worry too much about the unsolicited advice of others.

Here's some info on Pregnancy, Lactation, and Infancy for vegetarians.
