well there are different types of vegetarians

pescovegetarian - this person eats everything with the exception of any animal meats. but you can have seafood.

vegetarians - will not eat any animal meat or seafood. but will eat things that have eggs and dairy products like ice cream, bread etc...

vegans - these people will not eat any type of animal product so no cheese, no ice cream, selective types of breads

Now its your choice what you decide to do but remember that becoming vegetarian doesn't mean giving up your favorite foods almost anything that you love can become vegi friendly. good luck

its ok jus it some meat but not alot
eat little bit of meat with a salad

A lot of vegetarians eat eggs, milk and cheese. It is Vegans who don't. Check out this website:

you dont have to be a strict vegetarian. i was a vegetarian for 6 years, but still ate fish on occasion. vegetarians can still eat eggs and other animal biproducts, but you cant if youre vegan. it's very important to be a healthy vegetarian. this means that you must eat lots of fruits and vegies, beans and rice and all that. also, make sure to research and go into the new diet slowly. i just started eating meat again because my stomach stopped producing the acids i needed to breakdown hard proteins like gluten
(wheat), so keep track of your health and make sure you do it right.

It depends on whether or not you are going vegetarian or complete vegan. If you are a vegan you can't eat eggs, cheese, or drink milk. Pretty much any dairy product is out (it comes from cows as people view it). Vegetarian's on the other hand do drink milk and eat dairy products they just don't eat meat (no beef, chicken, etc.) Some vegetartians don't eat fish, shrimp etc as well so you have to decide how far you want to take it. Good luck
One thing I suggest if this is truly what you are going to do is to get on some supplements because you will be losing a lot of essential nutrients.

don't do it man,, theres to much hipocracy in it.. if you want to do this go all the way and become a vegan and then you won't have the energy to get out of bed, your body needs protien from animals.. also if you care about animals just treat them with respect and kindness..

hi, im vegetarian from birth. ill tell u what we dont eat. fish, chicken, pig, fish, crabs, lobsters any sea food any animal , eggs also u know. im 16 n im a brahmin. (hindus who r quite strict veggies.) anything which used to hv life before -a big "no" there. u can drink milk coz u dont hurt any animal by doing tht. cheese is also fine. no eggs coz they can hv life but we kill it b4 it even starts a life. hope tht helps

if u want to be a vegan, it can be very difficult. so start by being a vegetarian first n then if u want to go further...its upto u

vegetarians exclude chicken, meat, and fish from their diet.

VEGANS exclude eggs, milk, cheese.

i would suggest you becoming a vegetarian not a vegan because vegans are extreme in what they consume.

it might be easier to transition into a vegan if you start as a vegetarian.

also, it's not just consuming meat...you can't eat say...chicken noodle soup because the broth itself uses chicken.

you and me are in the same boat
i am 19 and started 5 days ago
it gets easier as time goes on, the first few days were rough but it will get better
go to kroger they have a section of vegie foods. you can get soy milk, meatless hotdogs and burgers
and they do taste good
good luck i hope we both can do this

also vegans dont eat milk/chesse

Lots of people have given you great dietary tips so I'll give you another perspective you are going to have to deal with: the social one.

There is controversy regarding vegetarianism, anyone who reads some of the stuff here in YA would be aware of that.

Do yourself a favor, don't alienate family and friends with your decision to go vegetarian. They can be your best allies in your decision but if you are critical of their eating meat, expect to receive negative responses in kind.

Remember that respect is a two way street so give it if you want to receive it. In following this path, you will more likely get their support for your lifestyle and even change the ways of some others. You are far less likely to accomplish this by taking a moral high ground or condemning others.

Good luck, hope it works out for you!
