Is anyone familiar with spinach tofu?!

Question: I just found a block of it at my favorite Asian market. It tasted great - just like creamy spinach. I'm thinking of a couple of ways to cook it. Does anyone have any experience with it or recipes for using it? Thanks!

Never heard of it. I'm wondering if you can puree it with some nutritional yeast, add a can of artichokes and make a kind of quickie vegan spinach artichoke dip.

Hehe, right now I am eating tofu scrable which is tofu, spinach, mushrooms, and carrots. :P

Since you got it from an Asian market, try making Japanese brown curry. It's really easy to make, they sell brown curry in blocks at Oriental markets, the box is brown and gold, very popular. I always made it with veggies but during my recent trip to Japan they had spinach curry. Just buy the curry blocks, add spinich and toss in those tofu blocks. You can never go wrong with brown curry! :P It microwaves well so make a bunch and freeze it.

I've never seen it, but it sounds awesome! Asian markets are the best place for vegetarian foods, especially tofu (if you can read the ingredients, that is!) I love all the deep fried tofu puffs and the egg tofu (not vegan though).

I'll keep my eyes peeled for it next time I go shopping. What country are you in?

I have never heard of it but it sound nasty.

wow i would like to eat some of that. sounds good, cant wait til they get it up here INDIANA.

mmm yum I've never seen spinach tofu before. how bout pasta with italian tomato based sauce, real spinach, carrots, onions and your yummy tofu. I used to make it with cheese but leave the cheese out now that I'm vegan. I'll definitely look out for spinach tofu next time i'm at the markets.
