Is it okay to have soy every day?!
Answers: I like having cereal for lunch (im weird i know) and I dont like cow milk with it.. I also drink 1-2 small glasses (not a whole cup) during the day of soy milk, plain. is it bad? i ddont usually eat soy meats because i dont like them much
Soy is fine as long as you aren't allergic. I think it sounds a little boring to have soy milk every day, but there shouldn't be anything wrong with it as long as you have a variety of different fresh fruits, vegetables and grains.
Soy is not dangerous or toxic in any quantity unless you have an allergy. There has been a lot of weird misinformation about it on the internet in the last few years. Before that, there was a bunch of misinformation about "carbs." Just another fad that has little or no basis in fact.
I have only ever heard that soy was good for you. I'm sure anytihing in too big a quantity would be toxic but have no idea of how much you would have to eat. I think I read about zoos at one time feeding soy milk to the tigers, and they found that is ws suppressing reproduciton. So you may want tocheck out how much is too much. But I wouldn't worry over it.
Anything can be bad if you overdo it and don't eat a balanced diet. As long as your diet is balanced, you shouldn't have a problem.
You have as much as you like it will give you protein for your bones and give you a healthy look in your face.
I eat soy all the time, everyday. I see no ill effects from it. There are both camps out there: soy is bad for you and soy is good for you.
I say as long as you don't go overboard, you're fine.
My kids drink a lot of soy milk. They also eat tofu, soy yogurt and soy meat. They are incredibly healthy. Never getting bad colds and they never need antibiotics. And they are tall and strong.

I eat soy just about every day. But if you're worried, you can have water, juice, or tea to drink instead of soy milk. Or you can drink almond or rice milk.
When I became a vegetarian, I ate some sort of soy product every day. Somehow, I came upon some odd websites that said soy was bad. Yet, the FDA says soy is good. I concluded that, in moderation, soy should be fine. Anything in moderation should be alright.
