What are some tings that Vegans can eat???!


Question: So i pledged to go Vegan for 30 days. What are some things (beside tofu) that we can eat?? i know like, bread, and penut butter, veggies, fruits, and potatos, but whats some other normal things

Congrats on taking the pledge. There are a vegan versions of just about every animal product... vegan soy yogurt, milk, cheese, ice cream, sour cream, etc. Here's a list of some popular non-dairy and faux meat products that are vegan:

Most pasta is vegan... just check to make sure it's not made with eggs. Same with soup; make sure it's made with vegetable broth and not chicken/beef stock.

veggies, fruit, soy products. Mock meat is wonderful, nuts, pasta, crackers, some chips, some types of chocolate (yes they make vegan chocolate), soy yogurt.

umm... vegetables and fruits should be considered pretty normal . As a vegan there are still many more things you can eat then things you can not eat. pasta dishes are a filling vegan option, and lots of Indian food is all vegetables. Theres more out there then tofu. what made you pledge vegan for 30 days though?

just think of those poor plants and their families though befotre u put them in your pot

If you're gonna be vegan you are going to have to make sure that you get enough vitamins and minerals.

These site also have good vegan recipes http://www.theppk.com/. As when you look at the recipies there are comments and other peoples alterations that you can do to improve some areas or reduce fat.
