There are some pizza restaurants that have milk products in their crusts but not all.
Round Table Pizza crust: not vegan; dry milk, some have eggs
Domino's Pizza crust: not vegan; whey, L-cysteine, mono- and di-glycerides from unknown source
Godfather's Pizza crust and sauce: vegan
Hot Stuff Pizza crust: not vegan; butter
Little Caesars crust, sauce, and crazy bread: vegan
Mazzio's Pizza original and thin crusts and sauce: vegan
Papa John's Pizza original crust, breadsticks & sauce: vegan
Pizza Hut: unsure, check here: http://www.pizzahut.com/
Pizzeria Uno Chicago crust and sauce: vegan
Pizza dough is made of flour, hot water, and olive oil. That's it. It's completely vegan.
yes, up can eat pizza, with out cheese,
If people are making fun of you, just tell them that it is no different to, if you were allergic to cheese, like many people in the world are allergic to milk and cheese!
Yes, there is a casew nut receipy for replacing the cheese, also, some grocery stories have tofu type of cheese.
Enjoy.
Eat beforehand, if you don't and pick everything off your slice(s) you'll look even worse. Get a Jamba Juice or something to that effect and nurse it during the party.
You could also pick up some vegan cookies at Whole Foods and "bring desert".
Cheers,
i think u can eat the crust but if dout u can bring chips or sumthing
ya i do it all the time you dont need cheese
Yep, dough can use oil/margarine. the best vegan topping is tomato base. refried beans and guacamole....yummy!
Some places do have vegan crusts and sauce, and others don't. Try to find out where they're getting the pizza from, and if the crust and sauce are vegan, you can have pizza without cheese.
There are places in my town that offer vegan soy cheese, but I prefer pizzas without them.
You should bring snacks anyway!
And some good crust dip :)
but yeah It depends where the pizza is from. Pizza dough SHOULD be only made of a few ingredients and is in most places but some places like to add extra ingredients
Also in my experience, thin base cheeseless pizza tastes awful. its too thin so just goes like cardboard with tomato on.
If you can get a deep pan base
I use soy cheese
