No. Do you eat a varied diet of fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts and grains? Do you get adequate nutrition with your vegetarian diet? Including enough protein, calcium, vitamin B-12, and iron? As long as you eat healthy and fulfill the recommended daily allowance of all your nutrients, you should be just as strong, if not stronger, than girls eating meat. Probably stronger. People who eat meat tend to be much more unhealthy than those who are vegetarians or have vegetarian-like eating habits.

No you will not be provided you eat proper food vegetables and protein not too much fat and nuts and seeds. You may need to take vitamin supplement but maybe n ot also depending on your diet

noooooooooooooo....
actually u will longer than all those life-slughterres...u will be healthier...
if u are an indian.. do you knw john abraham who has one of the cooolest bodies in bollywood is a pure vegetarian....and ironiacally his girlfriend is a hardcore non-veggie..but still he is healthier and his six-pack abs are the only good thing bout him...

it is a very famous myth tht non-veg has more protiens..even some doctors preach this...
but fella the protiens in non-veg are of such a low quality tht only 2% of it is ever consumed by the human body.... whover says tht you will be weaker than ppl who eat non-veg..show them my pic...lol i am a veggie still i m NOT WEAK ...lol

u may visit the link i hv given in my profile of the site go-veg.. and even visit peta meet ur meat video.. they tell u a lot of thngs bout veggie food...

Yes, most likely. Good luck either way.

Actually if you eat well and make sure you have natural sources of iron and calcium, you should be alright, however the thing to consider is many vegetarians do not get enough iron in their diets and have to resort to iron tablets. My Sister in law had some problems while pregnant and was told to eat a bit of good quality red meat, to solve her iron defiency and yes she is vegetarian (except for when she had to eat meat to correct her defiency).

You are going to miss out on some valuable vitamins from natural sources, unless you make sure you dont.

I eat vegetarian food, but am not entirely vegetarian. I do eat meat too as I do not wish to get my iron from artificial sources such as pills.

What you will find in vegetarian sources of iron is not nearly going to be as much as you would find in a piece of steak.

To fully absorb and utilise iron, you need to ensure that you have enough vitamin c in your diet as this makes iron absorption easier.

Something I was told when my first child was born.

To those who say that the protein in meat is only of minimal benefit, well, consider this.

My husband is forty two is not vegetarian, grew up on a dairy farm, ate the best of meats and very little vegetables and is still strong enough to put men half his age to shame and I have seen him do it.

There are vegetarian tri-athletes, iron men, power lifters, football players etc.

And girls are not weak, that's misogynistic.

Unless they are a bodybuilder.

With exception of broken-and-never-fixed left arm, I'm as strong as any girls my age - I moniter my health though, so if you're asking this, I wonder if you're putting in the effort? Make sure you're getting enough of everything.

The relationship between what you eat and the way you evolve, is, at best, extremely tenuous.Everything depends upon your envionment, your upbringing, you reading, your education, the experiences you come across and your responses to them. Human diet, whether veg or non-veg, has a very limited role to play in this entire game. The only point to be considered is that after a certain age, your body finds it difficult to digest non-veg food and if taken in excess, it might lead to some complications.
