Answers: I don't want to buy a book on how to eat vegetables

Here are some good sites:

http://www.vegcooking.com/makingthetrans...
http://www.tryveg.com/cfi/toc/
http://www.pcrm.org/health/veginfo/vsk/i...
http://www.goveg.com/optimal_vegan_nutri...
http://www.vegcooking.com/guide-favs.asp

(All of those sites are about veganism, even though some use the word "vegetarian" because people are more familiar with it.)

Good luck!

www.peta.org

they have a link there

peta. they have a free starter kit!

Maybe you should first be a vegetarian for a while, and slowly move to vegan. Its a hell of a change for your mind and body in too short a time span. This usually means depleted energy for a while.Go easy for a while

Yeah like how the people before me said go to the peta website... also they have peta2.com. Just the same as peta.com, but had some different stuff to it.

Go to the forums at theppk.com - thousands of happy, healthy, friendly vegans are there to help you out!

There's also the forums at veganfreak.org for individuals who are seriously on their way to becoming vegan.

not all people who want to become vegetarians want to see just the PETA stuff.
Being vegetarian isnt JUST about animal rights
I almost considered going to PETA for a beginers guide but chose against it because I dont want those people having my info and sending me 20 million pics of cows getting their faces cut off

For nutritional information, I suggest you go to the Vegetarian Resource Group (www.vrg.org).

To get a vegetarian starter guide, go to www.cok.net. They also have easy recipe booklets.
