I have been thinking of becoming a raw vegan..how do i start?!


Question: ok so my mom became a raw vegeterian last year she lost 60 lbs in two months and is now smaller than me...i have really been thinking of trying it out but im scared the other foods are gonna temp me....how did you start or how would you suggest me start...i really want to change my eating habbits and loose weight for the summer

Obviously your mum must be able to help you with the food side, which will be a great help, and you just have to find raw things you love. David Wolfe even suggests not doing it 100% at once.

There are so many things on youtube you can watch to inspire you.

What difference does it make if the vegetables are cooked or raw? The calorie count doesn't change unless you add other stuff to it. I steam a lot of broccoli and baby carrots and make a lot of salads. It's ok if you "cheat" every now and then, if you don't allow yourself a little treat every now and then you will just go crazy and binge. I'm not a vegetarian or vegan, but when I'm trying to lose weight, it's easy to cut calories with no meat.
