A healthy vegan diet includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, and grains. The main concern for vegans is having a reliable source of vitamin B12 by taking a supplement or eating fortified foods (like some soymilks and cereals). Here are links with more info:

Good luck!!

as a vegan you eat no meat. You don't eat fish, and you are not supposed to eat eggs which my opinion is absurd. no im sorry i have no links well you should try the food channel . com.

Good Luck

Lets see.... www.peta.org www.fishinghurts.com, www.furisdead.com, www.peta2.com, www.goveg.com.

Those sites are my personal favorites. I hope those get the ball rolling for you.

the protien part is listed here by mixing these you can get good protien.
1. beans or legumes of any kind
2. nuts and seeds of any kind
3. grains such as millet i am not sure about kamut if it is wheat or gluten content but find a grain such as corn

now what you do is find ways to mix them.
such as beans and rice or
beans and corn
or peanuts or other nuts and
sprouted beans and corn in a soup
tofu or tymph which are soy beans and rice fixed in 100+ ways.
if you mix the three above you will get a complete protien.
this is the protien part of the diet
next get good fruits 2 - 4 per day and 4 - 6 servings of vegetables.

Being vegan is not really difficult however I think that it does take planning. Some young people turn vegan without reading anything on the lifestyle and eat chips and peanut butter.

There are 100's of foods but you must read up.

Veganism is a lifestyle, not a diet, and it extends a lot further than your food. A strict vegetarian follows a vegan diet, but is NOT vegan.

Do your research. Find out what you should be getting daily and where you can get it from. Strict vegetarians (and vegans) avoid all animal products. No meat (fish and chicken are meat), no dairy (whey, casein, butterfat), no eggs, no gelatin, no lard, no honey, no carmine, no cochineal. Nothing that is or comes from an animal.
