Becoming Vegeterian?!

Answers: Well, I am a dancer, but I wouldn't call myself "skinny". (I wouldn't call myself "Fat" or "chubby" either. I'd call myself average.) When guys dance (Oh, I forgot to mention, I am a guy. lol. And no, I'm not Gay) It looks A LOT better when you've got a nice body. Take Michael Jackson for instance. (I'm a Big MJ fan.) He's a vegeterian and has a nice, slim body. I want to look good when I dance, and not an ammature or a "fatass". Do you think changing to a vegetarian would help me reach my goal? If so, how do I become one? I mean what do they eat. (I know that they dont eat meat. Duh!) To see me dancing check out some of my videos at this youtube channel.

Making the switch to a vegetarian diet doesn't automatically guarantee weight loss; a diet of Oreos and chips would technically be considered "vegetarian". On average, though, vegetarians are 10 to 20 pounds lighter than meat-eaters.

To have a healthy diet, include a variety of fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts, and grains. Fake meats are convenient for replacing the meat in your favorite meals and recipes. Here are some sites with more info:

Good luck!
Vegetarianism isn't a weight loss diet.
If you burn more calories than you consume you will lose weight. It has nothing to do with what you're NOT eating, and everything to do with what you are.
dont do it meat is good
that won't really help, you just have to diet well, and excercise and you'll be on your way to being the perfect size and weight.
Becoming a vegetarian won't guarantee that you'll lose weight, although since your a dancer, it may help you out. It's also not something to take lightly and if you don't plan to commit 100%, it definitly won't take an effect.
Most vegetarians eat all things that you normally eat...minus the meat and eggs. It would be wise to look up recipes for vegetarian meals...so you won't be tempted to take the easy way out and just eat junk food.
Hope I could help..=)
Wow, you're really good. In my opinion you don't need to lose any weight, you look totally legit...not amateur at all.
