What alternative to Quorn products can I purchase whilst in France?!
Answers: We are traveling to France in the summer and there are two vegetarians in our family and we eat a lot of Quorn products which are not available in France. Can any body tell me what French brands are available for veggi's. Many thanks
Le Quorn is not very popular in France but we've heard of it. But where will you be staying in France ? There is an English grocery shop in the city of Lille where they sell Quorn and all English products. The address is 159 Rue Leon Gambetta. They also have branches in Paris and Strasbourg. They do delivery for 5€ charge around the area near their shop. You can visit their website at :

Then there is a Chinese restaurant which serves meals with Quorn. It's in Paris, 99 Chemin Vert, Metro Pére Lachaise.
I'm not too sure if it is avaliable in France, but Cauldron do some good stuff. :]
What I know of though France is pretty difficult for finding vegetarian stuff.
Well aside from open markets full of fresh fruit, veggies, beans, crisp and delicious bread and pastries, there's health food stores in France too where you can buy tofu and pulses.
If you are fairly good at speaking French, there's a French vegetarian society at

The Alliance Végétarien has some great information and you can get in contact with them, tell them where you are planning to stay and what stores and restaurants are vegetarian-friendly in the area.
I did find a vegetarian eatery in Brittany that is not only vegetarian but vegan friendly as well:
