How much food and water vegeterians save?!

Question: I read how much food and water farmers spend for their animals, so I was thinking and I think that only vegans actually save food and water, not vegeterians. am I right? we still need to feed cows and chicks to get milk and eggs. vegetarianism saves animals from being killed, but veganism saves food and water that is for animals, right?

Well, i remember hearing numerous times that one vegetarian saves between ninety two and one hundred animals lives per year. vegans are vegetarians who don't eat dairy or eggs. so unless the animals eat dairy and egg, vegetarians are saving just as much food for the animals as vegans. also not only vegetarians/vegans save water, there are some people who are meat-eaters do lots of green things.

sounds logical to me =)
