Depends on how many you eat. Move more, eat less!

nah thats a lie prunes don't make anyone fat

No.. If they were they wouldn't give one the runs! Prunes can also cure constipation! Prune Nectar is what I use when I am constipated!

Prunes are fat free. However, they have sugar, and sugars that cannot be stored as glycogen in the liver for later use and are not being used immediately for energy, will be converted to fat. That goes for any excess carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Any time you are in a positive energy balance (more calories in than needed), you will gain fat.

duh noo!! why would u think that?
its a fruit - fruits arent fattening.
they dont really fill u at all - unless u eat quite a bit.

Dried fruits including prunes are good, but in moderation. They are high in sugar, so if you eat too many they can be fattening. I've read that 1/4 cup dried fruit is the recommended daily limit.

Definitely. They've been cooked, steamed, or blanched before being dried and are usually full of sulfites or preservatives. Cooking a fruit devalues it and leaves you with carbs and sugars similar to those that you'd find in processed fruit juices, unlike fresh fruit which is great for losing weight. Prunes are really just candy unless you can find them dehydrated naturally, that is, without high temperatures. That being said, don't be afraid to enjoy them in moderation.
