Answers: people ask me all the time and i was just wondering what some others reasons were.

cannot stand the sight of meat! i love animals, they have every right to live and be loved just like human beings!

because i wanted to live longer

http://veganbits.com/because/

Coz vegetarians r the best people on this earth....coz they don't kill any animal or do bad things only for eating purposes.....

Because it is healthier than eating that fattening greasy mcdonald's hamburger, because you aren't eating a scalded to death bird for pleasure of the stomach, those are a few reasons....

before i really hated vegetarians and was really anti veggie then i growed up a little saw a slaughter video that wasnt very pleasant so i became a veggie.
happy to save the world too by eating green :)
+that its so healthy and makes u feel better

Because I can live perfectly happily and healthily without causing unnecessary suffering to animals.

I don't feel right internally when i eat meat anymore.
I also feel that animals have rights just like humans.

don't like the idea of eating dead animal flesh. Think it is pretty gross

Hi honey, since i was small child i never liked eating meat, and it was a mixture of reasons. Besides the usual, "I'm not eating an animal" I also remember i hated the grisly pieces in the meat, they made me feel sick, and i tried to refuse to eat it. But of course, i was always encouraged and i was an on/off vegetarian until i was 19.

I think what put me completely off meat and i never touched it since, was when i was cooking a chilli con carne. when i put the minced meat in the pan, i suddenly turned green. It's like a light came on in my head and i realized what i was about to eat! The look and smell of the minced meat just turned my stomach. Since that day, i cook vegetarian chilli con carne!

Despite my being a vegetarian already, i never raised my daughter as a vegetarian because i believed she should make up her own mind what she eats. But one day, when she was 13 and we moved to a farm, she became very fond of a particular sheep in the field by our cottage. She gave the sheep a name and talked to it. Then one day this sheep together with others was whisked away to market to become someone's Sunday dinner. My daughter was heartbroken and she suddenly became vegetarian.

I would love to know why you became vegetarian too.
xx

Karma

i would never want someone to be cruel to me, just so they could eat me later

If I want peace and love and kindness, I need to be the one to give that too. killing an animals is not showing love or kindness.

because you are insecure and need a different life style to help with emotional issues. A step above going goth or being a punk. Still in the same group however.

i don't like the fact that people raise animals just to kill them, and just thinking about eating dead animals just grosses me out
