How do you become a "trusted member"?!

Question: how do you become a trusted member so that you can delet accounts by yourself..or atleast get them deleted..i want to do this because am sick and tired of coming on here...postingperfectly reasonable answers and having a bunch of militant veggies following me giing me thumbs down and reporting me in mass just cause they dont agree....and since the other veggies dont mindabout that but complain if an omnivore does it..i wanna take matters into my own hands...as i like offering an honest opinion to some of the questions and no im not always rude...there are just some very ignorant people...

well anyway...any1 know how i can become one?

The 'trusted reporter' system is something of a mystery and something of a shambles.

You seem unaware of the fact that it only takes one of these 'trusted reporters' to get a post deleted by reporting it; you can't assume people are reporting your posts en masse.

And yes, some of those trusted reporters abuse their position.

You are as free as anyone else to report posts; I can't tell you how to become a TR, but I can give you some pointers on not getting your posts reported and deleted.

From many of your previous posts it appears you have rather a short fuse; you are inclined to be rather abusive when people disagree with you. 'Insulting other members' is a violation, so when you call someone - for example - ignorant, an idiot or a moron, your post can be legitimately reported and deleted as it has violated YA's rules. You often pick out people by name, and this itself is a violation

'Not a question or answer' is also a violation. You need to be careful to include an answer to the question asked. For example, yesterday someone asked a question along the lines of 'Do you feel healthier since becoming a vegetarian?'. Your reply did not include any sort of answer to the question; as I recall it began 'Before you say vegetarians are healthier, they are not...' and continued with your argument as to why this is so. You were giving your point of view, but you weren't answering the question.

Similarly with questions - they have to be questions, and not rants.

There are several meat-eaters who use this forum regularly who don't run into the kind of trouble you do. They sometimes poke a little fun, and they certainly challenge veg*ns where they see contradictions, often pulling no punches - 'Me' and Exsft come to mind - but they're not abusive and they're fair, and that's why they are accepted and respected on here.

Trusted reporters, btw, don't necessarily know they're trusted reporters; you don't get a badge or anything. You might be able to find out more by asking in the Yahoo Answers section.
