i eat a lot fo grains and beans and lentiles and bulky root veggies. so I am not hungry.

but if I only ate carbs, yes I would be hungry all the time.

Yeah I have the same problem,so I end up eating a lot of junk food. I'm going to a nutritionist to and working on meal plans I'd probably suggest that also.

Nope. I love to cook. I think that's part of my satisfaction. Have you ever been tested for hypoglycemia? Spikes and dips in your blood sugar level may be the root of your constant nibbling.

Then again, it could be that you're eating a lot of readymade foods which are loaded in fillers and not real food at all so your body is nutritionally deprived. That will kick your appetite into overdrive.

No. Fiber and protein should keep you pretty full for a while. I put flax seed on my salad for more fiber. I also do cottage cheese for protein. Fills me up pretty good. I'm not a vegetarian, by the way, but it's very, very rare that I bother eating meat I might as well be one.

No, I get full on a reasonable amount of food. Problem is I usually keep eating after I'm full because food tastes so damn good. And there's always room for cupcakes...*drool*

i don't try to get full because it's hard on the digestive system and counter productive.

Like me, you MUST have a very fast metabolism. I can eat a huge helping of pasta and be famished 15 minutes later. It seems to just dissapear. So what I do is, snack all day long. But most of the time I am hungry. It is weird. The thing about meat is that it does stay in your system for a very long time. Like predators in the wild...a lion only hunts and needs to eat once a week whereas grazers like elephant and antelope and cows need to almost constantly eat....but the grazers not only are healthier, but live alot longer than predators...that is if they dont get eaten by a predator! lol.

Nope. As long as I have good vegan food in front of me, it's pretty easy to fill me up.

no definately not. what are you eating? if your eating a lot of empty carbs it's hard to be full. eat more proteins, good carbs, whole grains, fruits, veggies, you should be fine...
