Do vegans worry about accidentally breathing in insects?!

Question: Are they like the followers of Jainism who wear masks to avoid breathing in bugs and watch every step they take lest they accidentally squish an ant?

I'm not a Jainist, I don't wear a mask to avoid breathing in insects. However, I try to be mindful with this, as well as watching where I step to avoid harming sentient beings.

I can't speak for all vegans but I think I can safely say the majority don't. There are different ways we incorporate trying to live as ethically as possible into our lives.

How funny!

They should not in my opinion..this is because it is hard to control breathing in insects without being completely ridiculous! LOL

I don't know any who do, I certainly don't.

But I did read this article once that said people swallow an average of 8 live spiders a year in their sleep.

That worried me for a while, but just for the icky and scary factor not the fact that it would be contrary to my vegan beliefs or however you put it.

No.

Never really thought about it. Now I may not be able to sleep for days. Thanks a bunch.

Rofl!!!!!!!
Im taking it your not vegan then?
And no we dont
cute to ask :)

Yes they should, but you will find on here a group of people commonly known as VOC (vegans of convenience). They like the cute little title of being a vegan. However, when it starts to cramp their style as what you suggesting with the masks, well the ole VOC's pull out the infamous I do the best I can speech. The best they could do is conform to their beliefs.
