Where can I find vegan chocolate?!

Question: I miss that brown stuff immensely!
Also, I've heard that a lot of the choices aren't exactly delicious, so if you've got a favourite brand I'd love to hear about it.

The following companies make both milk and dark chocolate, but the dark chocolate is vegan: Dagoba, Denman Island, Green & Black's, Endangered Species. I think there are others, but none come to mind right now.

Terra Nostra has rice milk chocolate bars.

Rose City Chocolatier makes sampler boxes and they have a vegan line.

Sjaak's also makes vegan chocolates, but I'm not a huge fan of them.

You do have options.

There are many places!

If you have a Trader Joe's they have a wonderful dark chocolate truffle bar. It is usually by the cash register. Also, I think Lent makes one. I'm not positive what sugar they use but most sugar these days is made out of beets and not put through bone char.

I love dark chocolate. Many kinds are vegan. But if dark isn't for you. Try Sweet William's it's delicious. They come in "milk" chocolate, which is made with soy, Sugar free, or almond flavor. You can buy them from most health food shops.
