Just exactly what are vegan eggs?!

Question: We substitute!

Scrambled eggs? Scrambled tofu with herbs can taste like the "real thing" if made right.

Binder in batters? Mashed banana, ground flaxseeds and water, apple sauce, extra water, extra oil... any of the above work instead.

Some things can't be subbed, like eggs in Flan, for example. But that's OK. Some things just aren't meant to be veganized, I guess!

There's no such thing, unless you're referring to the egg a vegan sheds during her monthly cycle.

Probably a tofu or veggie "scramble". No such thing as vegan eggs. Free-range or not, they are still an animal by-product. Vegetarian eggs are eggs from chickens that were fed only a vegetarian diet (yes, some farmers feed a non-veggie diet to CHICKENS!!!) and they are generally organic and free-range and what not.

you can buy a powder that is a replacement for eggs in a vegan diet, its usually made up of raising agents!

Every purpose that eggs serve can be served by something else.

Just don't let anyone tell you that Egg Beaters or other cartoned eggs are vegan. They're egg whites with food coloring.

chickens in factory farms are fed alll sorts of not good stuff including other animal biproducts and low grade meat. vegan eggs are probably eggs that come from free range chickens that are not tortured in factory farms and are fed a normal chicken diet that does not include animal biproducts and meats.
