How would you go vegetarian?!
Answers: My mom wouldt really allow it and she makes my food. So how would I do it? I just learned about killing animals? What should I do?
I was veggie for a few years . That was ages ago and if I had the choice that you have now I may have lasted longer.
1. Do your research, show you will find a balanced diet.
2. Don't make a huge deal about it. If it helps start by cutting down on meat and hopefully your mum will come round if she sees you are serious.
3.DON'T PREACH! and don't be pious, if you bang on about animal rights people will just tune out.
This is your choice don't expect everyone to feel the same way.I found people listened a lot more if they asked me about my decision.
I was a pseudo-vegetarian for about four years; I still ate eggs and cheese. I just stopped eating meat, cold turkey. But then as time went on, I started eating poultry again, then fish, then before you knew it I was eating beef and pork. With the exception of seafood I still don't consume a whole lot of meat, but when I stopped eating meat I just did it.
first of all..try to stop eating meat, durrr:p
-What yo gatta do,
-Make sure all of your food consists of protein also because meat contains protein.
-drink milk and eat ur veggies and fruit.
the second answer was good.
Tell your mom, that will help more with the cooking or house work to show that you are a mature young person that is making a serious choice.
This will make your mom see that you are willing to help with the cooking and pitch in.

to me it was easiest to quit cold-turkey. i just told my mom that its my life and she can't tell me what i can and can't eat
Congrats,
Do lots of research before you talk to your folks.
First eliminate red meat, then pork, chicken, then fish. You can choose to eliminate eggs then dairy too if you wish. Some tips which may help you:
Buy or borrow some good veggie cook books. Learn to cook and improvise with what you've got.
Make sure you eat a variety of fruit, veg, nuts, beans, legumes and get all your essential nutrients. If you're concerned see a nutritionist. Shop in produce section, health food stores, farmers markets, fridge for tofu soy milk etc.
