Do you look younger since going vegetarian?!

Question: I hear this all the time.

I've been veggie for 10 years since I was 8 years old. :0) And I can say I look young for my age :-)

I think so. My mother is in her mid thirties and she looks like she is in her early twenties. Everyone always says how she looks to young to have me and my sister (we're both 14) for children, and others say we look like her siblings.

I also think being vegetarian/vegan gives you healthier skin! Ive been vegetarian since birth and I've always been complimented on my skin, so has my sister and mother.

I guess there are a lot of physical (and mental) benefits in being a vegetarian/vegan.

Well, I'm 17...so I wouldn't know if I could count...but a lot of people say I look 13 or 14, which I actually find insulting and at a disadvantage. however, I already have a boyfriend, so maybe I don't have to be bothered about it as much.

You are 18, and you look young for your age? So you look like your 12?

well i think i look the same but i'm only 14 so i don't know

I was a vegetarian for 5 years but had to stop
I looked WAY better while I was a vegetarian

Well i've just begun. But i've heard people say that are Vegan, that they feel younger. Some people may look younger also. my friends mom who is also Vegan. does look young, about in her 20's. But shes like 30. So my Answer would be Yes. just depending on who you are. =).

that could be true meat is so heavy can weigh you down.

i wish i could do it but i cant give up bacon

I love my meat so I can't say however I answered this question to share a true story. I used to work with this man who you would say looked 40. You would bet your house on the fact he was not 1 day over 45 max. In conversation I found out due to religious beliefs he had never eaten meat, smoked, or put anything un natural into his body including alcohol. He told me he was 68 and I didn't accept his answer until he showed me ID.

I know I shouldn't use 1 example to gain an opinion but after that I honestly believe eating right makes a big difference.

Not that I done anything about it... I still do a pack a day with 1kg of meat...... My attitude is we are here for a good time not a long time...

I'm 24 yet still often asked for an ID. But I've always looked younger than my actual age so I really don't know. Been a vegetarian for 6 years.

hmm well, I've always been told I look younger. even before I stopped eating meat. so in my case, I don't think it's due to not eating meat, you know.

I'd like to attribute this to a veg lifestyle, but the truth is I've always looked young for my age. I'm 24 now, and when I was 23 I was once carded while buying a lotto ticket (age 18 requirement). The clerk thought I was 15.

I'm 36 and look 26. But I don't think it is just the veggies. I weight lift (which is considered the fountain of youth by many), run and always where sun block when outdoors. I never use tanning beds.

I'm 28 and have looked mostly the same since I was 12 (early bloomer I guess). Been veggie since 14, can't say if that has something to do with it.

I look about 5 years younger. Which is great in my 30's! and will be even better in my 40's and 50's! - after 60 I really don't care!

well i have a better completion then before and i feel better, aside from the fact that i have a stomach flux right now but everyone at work has it too.

so i guess, but i have always been called a baby face, went to the gym and they thought i was 16 and i Had to prove that i wasn't to use their equipment, but surprisingly enough not at the liquor store strangely enough!!! XD

(yes i am 21)

well im 15 and i look like im 17. so no.

I look younger but it doesn't have anything to do with my being a vegetarian. Even though I'm 25, for the last 7 years people have thought I was in high school. It just depends on the individual, not necessarily the diet.

I went vegetarian at 16. I'm now 55.

No, I don't look younger since going vegetarian. .

i workout a lot...people say i look like 20 when im actually almost 30...

NO.

But I have looked younger since going raw vegan.
