Is it OK to eat a hamburger if you are very hungry and there is nothing else to eat?!

Question: lmao.....just a couple of bites

Answers: lmao.....just a couple of bites

Yes, if you are a vegetarian it isn't bad to just have one hamburger.

It is always OKAY to eat a hamburger it's just your disicision whether to or not.

Well I'd rather have a juicy bloody steak, but I guess a burger is ok.

If you are vegan or whatever why would you even have access to meat. Not everyone in your home is veggie are they?

The cow would just as soon eat you, if human was a part of cow's diet, so sure.

It is OK, provided you removed the meat (and cheese if your vegan) from the hamburger before you ate it.

if it was kosher

It is OKAY to do whatever you want with your own life.

We, as vegetarians, feel it is not ok to eat hamburgers, personally.

But just as I am a vegetarian as free will, I accept you can do what you wish with YOUR life. So it's okay if your heart tells you it is, that's the issue! You don't need vegetarians to tell you that, you know how we feel about it...

um, no. you've broken your lifestyle choice! what, you can't ride a bus to a grocery store or something and get a fruit cup? come on! buy some boca burgers. actually the Morning Star burgers are really good if you want a burger really bad. god, even Burger King sells a boca burger if you need to eat at a fast food place. its just not an excuse that there will never be anything to eat.
Also, if you have been a vegetarian for a while, that thing will make you barf. Your body will reject it because it hasn't been fed that sort of thing in a while. it has to be after a while thoug, like years.
Hey, it's your choice, but you really can't eat a hamburger and then go around continuing to claim that you are a vegan/vegetarian.

yep

If your in desperate need of food and at the point of starvation. then I say yes. If your just hungry then I say no. Here is my blog. go to the first video at the right and post what you think. to the people who would report my answer because I mentioned my blog. Grow Up. It's no crime to pass along knowledge. Say No to the meat industry.http://proactionsite.blogspot.com/

Not for me, I would rather panhandle and buy myself a nice hummus sandwich if I had to. There is never a reason to eat a hamburger if you are veg.

Unless you live in Africa during a famine, you are hardly likely to die of starvation for missing out on a meal or two.

To quote Michael Klaper, MD –

“"The human body has absolutely no requirement for animal flesh. Nobody has ever been found face-down 20 yards from the Burger King because they couldn't get their Whopper in time."

You could always eat the bread bun, lettuce, tomato, beetroot and dispose of the meat pattie couldn’t you.

.

no, rico, it is not. it's highly unlikely that will be the only thing to eat, you meathead

Well, it is not bad to eat burgers in general (unless that's ALL you eat)but it might conflict with your values of being a vegetarian Personally, missing a meal or two is not enough of a reason for me to go back to eating meat.
But only you can judge yourself in a situation where you and only you can make the choices. There is no real penalty for reverting back to meat eating other than perhaps a conflict withing yourself. Like I said, I would not do it. But if you think you have to, then go right ahead.

u mean a burger with pig meat? that's sounds disgusting.

That depends on who you ask, don't you think?

People can eat whatever they want but anyone that eats a hamburger isn't a vegetarian.

The cow is already dead. He'll have died in vain if you don't.

Yes, but if your a vegan or vegetarian then only once.

For me, it is OK to eat a hambuger any time, because God gave us the animals as a part of our food chain. However, it is up to you to decide what and when to eat. But I highly recommend that you not starve yourself.
