I want to be a vegetarian.?!
Ex. eggs
Answers: I want to change my lifestyle, but I am confused about which foods are vegetarian and which are not.
Ex. eggs
Eggs and dairy products are vegetarian (not vegan).
Vegetarians don't eat fish, chickens, or any other animals. Soup made with chicken stock would not be vegetarian, for example.

Good luck!
I'm a vegetarian and eat everything except any kind of meat. I do eat eggs. do not eat meat for anything. if you knew what those people do to the animals, you would do more than just not eat meat. not eating meat is a perfect start.
When most people say they're vegetarian they usually mean a lacto-ovo vegetarian, which means they do not eat any animal flesh but do eat eggs and dairy.
Vegans do not eat or use anything that comes from an animals, including eggs, dairy, or honey and do not use items made of leather, wool, silk, pearls, etc.
Figure out what you're comfortable with and go from there.
go to www.goveg.com and decide for yourself. Ive been a very strict vegetarian for over 10 years, but if I were not....I would have been after visiting this web site. good luck.
wht kind of vegetarian.. i knw five types of vegetarians...
DO you really need to fit into a mold to be happy?
Do what you are comfortable doing. If you are against the killing of animals for food, then vegetarianism is for you. If you want to be healthier, then vegetarianism may be for you, you will need to pay attantion to your diet. If you are against using animals for anything then you may want to consider veganism.
If you are trying to lose weight, then you may want to try something else. If you are trying to fit into a certain crowd, ask yourself why.
I have been veg*n for more than 20 years, and I hate seeing people attempting vegetarianism for reasons other than their own comfort. DO this for yourself, and you will be successful, do it for someone else and you will likely fail.
Good luck, and when you start don't worry about the "rules." Just get comfortable with the new types of food, and the effort that goes into this new lifestyle.
Vegetarian foods as far as I understand will not contain any actual meat from ANY animal. I believe most vegetarians will consume eggs and other dairy products.
Also, if you want to do this, take it one step at a time.
I never understood how hard it could be to change one's eating habits after I converted from a life long vegetarian to a vegan. It was hard!!!
So pace yourself as you need two and soon enought you'll have a sense of satisfaction that you actually accomplished something good for yourself.
I think for starting out that lacto-ovo vegetarianism is the best. You can eat eggs, and milk, but no actual meat (chicken & fish included)
Or you could try going vegan, no animal products. (honey, silk, milk, eggs, cheese, and of course any meat.)
Good Luck :)
