you are a vegetarian. what a good thing to be too. :)
vegan means you don't eat or use anything that comes from animals, including dairy, eggs, gelatin, and honey, also leather and wool. in other words it's a very strict vegetarian.
have a fantastic day :D
You are a vegeterian. If you were a vegan Idk if you are but you wouldnt consume milk,cheese,eggs,honey-- Anything that was produced by an animal. All your hair products and makeup wouldnt be tested on animals and you wouldnt wear fur.
vegan- no animal products whatsoever (only plant based food)
vegetarian- any aninmal products except meat (eggs, dairy, some eat gelatin, etc)
the difference that vegan are strict vegetarian
they don't eat eggs nor drink milk
vegetarian do.....

I think you're a vegetarian. from what i understand vegans dont consume anything that comes from animals (ie) for food, clothing, or any other purpose. vegans dont even eat dairy products
There are six degrees of vegetarianism:
1) Semi vegetarian- Doesn't consume red meat, but eats seafood and poultry.
2)Vegetarian: Won't eat any meat or fish.
3) Ovo-lacto vegetarian: Won't eat meat or fish, but will eat dairy and egg products.
4) Lacto-vegetarian: Eats no meat or eggs but will eat dairy products (not eggs).
5) Does not eat any food containing animal products.... (milk, eggs, honey, ice cream, meat, etc.)
6) Does not use, wear, or eat any animals products.... (milk, eggs, honey, ice cream, meat, leather, make up (tested on animals)...
I would say that you are a vegetarian or an ovo-lacto vegetarian. Good job for sticking with it!

Vegetarianism is the practice of a diet that excludes all animal flesh, including poultry, game, fish, shellfish or crustacea, and slaughter by-products.[1] The reasons for choosing vegetarianism may be related to morality, religion, culture, ethics, aesthetics, environment, society, economy, politics, taste, or health.
There are several variants of the diet, some of which also exclude eggs and/or some products produced from animal labor such as dairy products and honey. Veganism, for example, excludes all animal products from diet. By some strict definitions, animal products are not used for attire either, whether or not the production of clothing or items has directly involved the actual death of an animal (dairy, eggs, honey, wool, silk, down feathers, etc.) [2] A generic term for both vegetarianism and veganism, as well as for similar diets, is "Plant-based diets".[3]
Properly planned vegetarian diets have been found to satisfy the nutritional needs for all stages of life, and large-scale studies have shown vegetarianism to increase longevity, improve health, and significantly lower risks of cancer and other diseases.[4][5]
i personally believe that you are either a vegetarian or a vegan, a person who eats any kind of meat/flesh is not a vegetarian!
Depends if you are going by what is within the dictionary or by your own personal view of the meaning of the words.
I have seen both upon this particular area with each supporting their particular view as to why they view it as correct.
Don't worry about what another person's view is of your personal choice. Just be happy in the choices that you make and live them.
You can call yourself a vegetarian. Vegans don't do anything animals produce, like eggs, gelatin, flavorings, feathers, silk, leather etc. Madonna is a vegetarian. Kim Bassinger is a vegan. Thank You for your compassion.
There are different types of vegetarians, non of which eat meat OR FISH ! Since you did not specify if you have stoped eating fish or not I'll just give you some guidelines on both vegetarianism and veganism.
The vegetarian diet is healthy, especially if you combine it with the organic diet. However this only applies for individuals who do proper research on the diet requirements.
Calcium can be obtained from soy or dairy, while protein can be obtained from legumes and soy. Most people believe that you have to take several diet pills to stay healthy, but this is not true. There are persons who need addition suplements because of health reasons, but the average person can live off of fruits and vegetables.
You have to stick with the foods that work for you and follow the diet pyramid. Because you are increasing your carb intake ie sugar, you must exercise on a regular basis if your metabolism is slow. However you can avoid having to take strenious exercise by using whole grain carbs/brown carbs. These carbs are not refined and are therefore healthier than the alternative white sugar carbs.
There are several types of vegetarians:
Lacto-ovo- vegetarian
When most people think of vegetarians, they think of lacto-ovo-vegetarians. People who do not eat beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish or animal flesh of any kind, but do eat eggs and dairy products are lacto-ovo vegetarians (“lacto” comes from the Latin for milk, and “ovo” for egg).
Lacto-vegetarian is used to describe a vegetarian who does not eat eggs, but does eat dairy products.
Ovo-vegetarian refers to people who do not eat meat or dairy products but do eat eggs.
Vegan
Vegans do not eat meat of any kind and also do not eat eggs, dairy products, or processed foods containing these or other animal-derived ingredients such as gelatin. Many vegans also refrain from eating foods that are made using animal products that may not contain animal products in the finished process, such as sugar and some wines. There is some debate as to whether certain foods, such as honey, fit into a vegan diet.
Other diets closely linked to the veggie diet include, but ARE NOT VEGETARIAN/VEGAN:
Pescatarian (also spelled pescetarian)
The word “pescatarian” is occasionally used to describe those who abstain from eating all meat and animal flesh with the exception of fish. Although the word is not commonly used, more and more people are adopting this kind of diet, usually for health reasons or as a stepping stone to a fully vegetarian diet.
Raw vegan/Raw food diet
A raw vegan diet consists of unprocessed vegan foods that have not been heated above 115 degrees Fahrenheit (46 degrees Celsius). “Raw foodists” believe that foods cooked above this temperature have lost a significant amount of their nutritional value and are harmful to the body.
Macrobiotic
The macrobiotic diet, revered by some for its healthy and healing qualities, includes unprocessed vegan foods, such as whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and allows the occasional consumption of fish. Sugar and refined oils are avoided. Perhaps the most unique qualifier of the macrobiotic diet is its emphasis on the consumption of Asian vegetables, such as daikon, and sea vegetables, such as seaweed
