Why is peeple so racist to vegetarian?!

Question: "is cos we is black!"

Answers: "is cos we is black!"

why do people dislike vegetarians? i think that is what you meant to ask. i dont think vegetarians suffer more racial abuse then meat eaters

it's because they are ignorant to the reasons for vegetarianism, also i think people are still a little prejudiced.

coz they have lack of knowladge or they think there is absolute truth about 'good' and 'bad' same for everyone.
Or maybe they are owners of an animal farm:)

?f they support conception that person should eat red meet i would rather advice them to support a conception against eating white suger:)
(at least they will have a truely healthy conception:))

maybe some people get a little irritated at vegetarians because if you are having a party you have to think of things that they can eat. if you are going out to dinner you have to think of a place that can accommodate them...sometimes it is just a pain.

Racist? What a ridiculous term to use. It's called being bigot. Being a vegetarian is not being a race. It's being a certain group of people who choose to believe a certain way and eat certain foods. Now, if you asked why people are such bigots towards vegetarianism, you would be asking: Why are people so ignorant about it? that would make much more sense.

Racism: Discrimination or prejudice based on race.

I wasn't aware that vegetarianism was a race.

Not all people are. And some vegetarians are also prejudiced against those who are not. I've met some people who give me hard time because I am a vegetarian and I've seen some vegetarians turn up their noses when they see people who eat meat. The bigotry exists in both lifestyles.,

"Vegetarian" is not a race by the way.

I have seen holier than thou types on both sides of the issue.

It isn't just limited to one group over another.

As another pointed out, vegetarianism/veganism isn't a racial issue, it is a personal choice.

I'm not racist to vegetarians. I just think vegetarianism, in most cases, is stupid. More specifically, if you're vegetarian to protect animal rights, that just makes me eat more meat.
