Vegetarian cookbooks?!
Answers: I am so tired of my veggie cookbooks, I need some new ones but I need to know which are decent ones? Any incite? I have a budget of about 25-30 dollars (hey I'm only 15 : ] )
I like Super Natural Cooking by Heidi Swanson - she uses dairy and eggs, and lots of unusual ingredients. Her recipes have always turned out for me, and because she's a photographer as well, the photos are gorgeous.
Veganomicon is a feat in itself - the enormity of the book, and the sheer number of recipes make it the equivalent to a vegan Joy of Cooking.
I don't know of any good vegetarian books but I know of some awesome vegan books:
How It All Vegan
La Dolce Vegan
The Garden of Vegan
Veganomicon
Vegan with a Vengeance
Sinfully Vegan (dessert book)
Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World
Veggie Lovers Cook Book
Vegan Fusion World Cuisine
The Moosewood Cookbook, by Mollie Katzen
This is a classic vegetarian cookbook. It was the first cookbook I ever bought and I was a little bit older than you.
The author has other cookbooks as well.
I can fully recommend Annie Bell's, "Evergreen", it is so good you don't need any pictures. I have made almost every recipe in it, and they really work.
Use websites and they want cost you anything!
http://www.101cookbooks.com/about/ It Heidi Swanson website. She posts new recipes every week. She makes a lot of great things.
http://whfoods.org/recipestoc.php#recipe... - not all vegetarian but many easy & good recipes

You can do a google search for many more.
There's a great website called www.vegweb.com--it's FREE!!--that has tons of recipes.
I also have made a handful of recipes from "The Vegetarian Meat and Potatoes Cookbook" by Robin Robertson. The recipes that aren't vegan (some have dairy and/or eggs) can be veganized.
