Do vegetarian's eat eggs??? easy 10 points to best answer!?!
Answers: i've always wondered, do vegetarians eat eggs??
Some do, some don't.
In the US, the majority of people who identify themselves as "vegetarian" are lacto-ovo-vegetarian, meaning they eat dairy products and eggs.
There are also lacto-vegetarians, who eat dairy but not eggs, and ovo-vegetarians, who eat eggs but not dairy. And some vegetarians eat neither, which may or may not make them vegan.
Vegans don't eat, use or wear anything of animal origin. It implies a moral concern for animals and vegans also avoid products tested on animals as well as industries that exploit animals for entertainment, like circuses and rodeos. Someone may be a vegetarian who avoids dairy and eggs without being a vegan.
some do. It all depends on what type of vegetarian they are.
yes. this is called a lacto-ovo vegetarian. a lacto vegetarian excludes eggs from her/his dairy consumption.
I have a friend that is a vegetarian and she doesnt. But yet, she must not realize that eggs are in some deserts, ie cake, that she likes to eat when we go out to dinner.....
ABSOLUTELY!
What vegetable is an Egg?
Nope
they do, but if they are vegan they do not eat or use anything from an animal
Ovo and ovo-lacto vegetarians do. Vegans do not.
Yes. Definition of vegetarian is someone who dont eat dead animals (meat and fishs, etc..). Eggs are not death animals. So for a vegetarian point of view its ok.
For vegan its different. Vegan is the next step. Usually people become vegetarian first, because it is more easy to see the torture of the animals we kill for eat. For eggs this is more indirect. The suffering is certainely samre or worst, but people usualy take more time to realize this. And some people will stay vegetarian for their all life, because they considere that stopping eating meat is enough. If everybody will be vegetarian, the production of eggs and dairy products will be very expensive and probably give up. Personaly I'm vegan, as it is for me the only way to be logical with what I think.
some do but its really like an unborn chicken baby or somethin
Absolutely!....vegans are the ones that do not eat any product that is derived from an animal including eggs.
Vegetarians simply do not eat the flesh of the animal.
some do some do not if they do not it is because the egg will turn into a chick
Some do. Vegans don't. They don't eat anything from an animal o.O It doesn't leave them with many options, basically bread and salad >.<
If they are ovo/lacto vegetarians, then yes, they do. If they are vegan, no.
yes, they can.
Its not a rule they have to though !
Vegans do not eat eggs.
Vegetarians=no meat
Vegans=no meat or by products (ie dairy, eggs, honey)
I am a vegetarian, and I do. When you eat eggs and dairy, it is called a lacto-ovo vegetarian.
However, I know a couple that do not.
Yep they do eat eggs
There is no definitive answer to this!
Some do, some don't.
But, then, some people who eat meat, choose not to eat eggs.Doesn't make them veggie though!
Different strokes! xx
A true vegeterian will not eat eggs.
Some do and all can. Vegetarians don't eat animal flesh or byproducts harvested through the death of the animal.

Lacto-Ovo-Vegetarians and Ovo-Vegetarians eat eggs, Lacto-Vegetarians and Vegans do not eat eggs.
Yes vegetarians do eat eggs. But if u are a vegan then no you do not! But then again there are many types of vegetarians there are semi-vegetarians, ovo-vegetarians, lacto-vegetarians, lacto-ovo-vegetarians and vegans. semi, ovo and lacto-ovo vegetarians all eat eggs. ovo means egg and lacto means dairy products and semi means not eating red meat but will eat fish and poultry. I hope that answered ur question and if you have anymore you can also google it.
usually when someone calls themselves or someone else a "vegetarian" they mean "lacto-ovo vegetarian" This means the person eats NO meat (fish, poultry, and seafood are meat) but DOES eat dairy products and eggs, which don't directly involve killing an animal..that's the easiest way to understand it.. if an animal had to die for me to eat this, it's not vegetarian.. if no animal had to die for me to eat this, I can eat it, as a lacto-ovo vegetarian
theh reason eggs are not considered a "Death" is because most commercial eggs are unfertilized.. this means there is egg, but no sperm has joined it.. this means, once an unfertilized egg is laid (much like when a 13 year old virgin girl "sheds" an egg each month) NOTHING, not a human, not a chicken, not an incubator.. NOTHING could turn that egg into a chicken, once it's laid unfertilized.. the fertilization process has to take place BEFORE the egg is laid.. anyway.. so commercial eggs are unfertilized.. they are not a chicken embryo.. they are an egg.. which, without sperm, can never be a life.. So that's how eggs are considered "vegetarian"
NOW.. one thing you have to consider is the conditions that the mother chickens are kept in to produce these eggs.. it is sickening the way commercial egg farms keep the chickens.. it's torture at best.. so many vegetarians and vegans avoid eggs for THAT reason.. so they don't support the torture of birds.. nto because the egg itself is a life...
Now VEGANS (vegan-vegetarians) eat NO animal products.. NOTHING that came from an animal.. and they call themselves "vegan" not "vegetarian" so a "vegetarian" is a lacto-ovo vegetarian..
some do and some don't.
vegans, on the other hand, do not.
