Who would like to help save the planet by not going to KFC?!

Question: KFC is evil. They slaughter the chickens in ways that could be illegal if they did that to a bunny or puppy. They slit chick's necks or put chicks in boiling water even if the chickens are still alive.

Yes they do. Good job posting this and good luck with all of the people who say that there is nothing wrong with KFC. Everyone visit www.peta.org. It doesn't matter how you feel about the organization, just watch the videos.

I never go to KFC, or McDeath, or Burger Killer! or any other fast food places. I do not want to eat card board with a pickle and mayo!

That will only save the chickens... What does that have to do with saving the planet. Or do you think the chickens will take over the planet?

I boycotted KFC when I was 12, and haven't gone back since.

Edit: Hmm ... didn't know that about them. I still boycotted them at the age of 12 (when I converted to vegetarianism) for health reasons. My family is all morbidly obese, and addicted to fast food. So i swore off it all.

Yes we have all seen the PETA video.. however you can't not save everyone.. KFC will still exist, they will do what they do.. all you can do is change yourself! by you not going there you can make a difference in the world.. you can speak out about it, however a lot of people will not listen.. so do what you feel is right.. but your not going to change the world.. sorry..

I don't eat KFC. The last few times that my family got chicken from there, it was raw on the inside. I have not eaten from there in over 2 years, and I don't plan on eating there.

KFC nor any other restaurant owns the farm where there food comes from. They don't do it there selves how about going after the company that actually does it; and there is no nice way killing anything no matter how you put it

All farms that raise animals for food do things like you just stated

I never go to any fast food place... simply because the food is horrible and not healthy.

more babble from people who don't know the facts
KFC does not kill their chickens
they purchase them from TYSON and other sources if your going to protest get your facts straight first

lets get chick fil a too.

I'm a vegetarian but I stiill go to KFC just to eat their corn and mashed potatoes but after hearing that I don't want to go there anymore.

Correction: KFC does not slaughter chickens. So the rest of your rant is meaningless. Learn the facts lest you sound like a annoying mad dog barking up the wrong tree. It's quite obvious that your source of "factual" information is PETA. Vegetarians like you are the reason why the real issues are ignored. When clowns make an argument, it is rarely taken seriously.

KFC is no more evil than thousands of other restaurants and millions of households who buy Tyson Foods chickens. Would you protest them too?

I am a vegetarian so I never eat at places like KFC. But to say because it would save the world is stretching it a bit don't you think?

I would never eat anything from there.
I only eat veggie subs from my local deli.

True true, babygirl I support you all the way!

I always hated KFC. All it is, is a bucket of grease.

Wow, I'm sorry about all the rude comments.

It is true that KFC isn't physically slitting chicken's throats or dumping them into scalding water, but about 1 billion chickens are killed each year for the company's buckets. KFC needs to start being more responsible for the animal suffering that it's causing. The company should pressure its suppliers to switch to controlled-atmosphere killing (CAK), which would prevent live birds from being abused by workers, having their throats slit, or being scalded while they were still conscious.

Anyway, good for you for boycotting KFC!

I never go to KFC, in fact I've pretty much excluded all fast food place from my life. Even if they do have veg*n choices.

Not me.

KFC does none of the things you assert. KFC doesn't deal in live animals.

"Save the planet by not going to KFC"

Okay, seriously?

Have you ever thought about helping all the people in this world who go to bed hungry every single night? Do you even care about them...or just the stupid chickens?

Get a life.

I doubt if explaining life to you would be futile but boycotting KFC will not save the world. I cannot understand why KFC is the target when they slaughter no, zero, nada, nil animals. They have been targeted by the EVIL empire PETA.

Not me. I enjoy a bucket of chicken every once in a while on my flexitarian vegan diet.

BTW, KFC does not kill any chickens. They buy their chickens from a supplier, Tyson Foods.

chickens taste good. let them suffer haha

KFC just buys the chickens from tyson. Could they use their influence as an enormous buyer to sway tyson to more ethical chicken harvesting? probably. Is your energy misplaced in targeting KFC? partially.

kfc/pizza hut- there is a combo of these two that is attatched to this here skyscraper of mine so that i can walk to it when its raining without going outside. sometimes i get breadsticks and fresh fruit from them (they sell apples and bananas) it is owned and operated by this short turkish man who is very nice and always seems to be there. Should i stop doing this because he pays a franchise fee to kfc who buys chicken from tyson? seems like misplaced energy. Especially since i dont eat chicken.

1) Not me
2) What does that have to do with the planet
3)They could be illegal... but they're not. PS it wouldn't be illegal for a bunny or a lamb... little baaaby laamb.
