Many tribes in Africa are vegan or vegetarian and 30-40% of India are vegetarians.

India and most tribes in Africa aren't vegetarians because how would they survive if they were? Most of those tribes can't go to the nearest Wal Mart and buy vegetarian substitutes. They don't exactly get the veggies we have.
