Are Subway Veggie Patty sandwiches suitable for vegans?!

Question: I know they are made from soya and vegetables but are there any animal derived ingredients in there too?

What menu items at SUBWAY? restaurants are vegan/do not contain animal-derived ingredients?

The menu items that do not contain any animal-derived ingredients are the Veggie Delite? on Italian bread and the Veggie Delite? salad. Also these individual items also do not contain animal-derived ingredients: all vegetables, oil, vinegar, mustard, sweet onion sauce and Fruizle. The wheat bread and deli roll contain honey but no other animal-derived ingredients.

probably or they would say vegan on them. try asking in subway

nope they have eggs

No.. i worked at subway for 2 years.. they have eggs in them to keep them together.. cuz i always thought it was weird that there were eggs but you only had to put into the microwave for like 45 sec..

That is a list of Subway's ingredients. Unfortunately, they don't include the veggie patty on the list. But there is an "Ask Us!" link at the bottom where you can e-mail them and ask for further information about the veggie patty.

unfortunately the patties DO have cheese in them and possibly eggs as well..

the WHITE berad veggie delight sandwich with just veggies and vinegar/oil (no "Creamy" dressings or mayo) and no cheese is the only vegan thing to buy at subway..
