When is an ideal sprouted Salad? Can it be taken daily?!
Sprouted alfalfa:
"The Father of all Foods" Alfalfa is so named because it contains just about everything the body needs for survival. Alfalfa rejuvenates the system, detoxifies and enriches the liver, assists in weight loss, purifies the blood, aids digestion and acts as a general tonic. Alfalfa contains all known vitamins, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, selenium and zinc. A superfood - fresh, young, organic and it tastes delicious - no wonder it is so powerfully described. Use for salads, juices, sandwiches and finger food.
Sprouted Mung Beans:
Mung Beans are usually associated with Chinese stir frys, but sprouted they are absolutely delicious raw, tasting rather like young peas straight from the pod. Mung beans are a wonderful blood and liver cleanser and are soothing to the digestive system, They are high in amino acids, iron, potassium and Vitamins A, C and E. They are a great energy boost.
Sprouted Chickpeas:
Chickpeas contain Vitamins A and C, amino acids, carbohydrates, fibre, calcium, magnesium and potassium.
Add some baby salad leaves, mixed peppers, tomato, cucumber and celery and you have a perfect salad.
Don't ruin it with an unhealthy dressing: make your own out of dijon mustard, hemp oil, vinegar and honey..and if you like it hot add some fresh chilli flakes!!!
Most importantly..enjoy!!
