What do you think of pollo-vegetarians?!
Answers: Definition: People who refuse to eat all types of meat except for chicken. Let me know please?
I think it is a step in the right direction. Better than drinking juice, that will give you clingons. Chicken eaters are good people with morals.
They're not vegetarians
Well it's up to them what they eat, but they're not vegetarian by any definition of the word.
Do you mean that they refuse to eat red meat but will eat poultry? The tag mark may not be the best but I would think that their diet will be a little healthier than the red meat brigades.
College students think so too. A study conducted by Arizona State ... come in more than half a dozen flavors, from sproutarians to pesco-pollo-vegetarians. ...

It,s just another pretentious name for pretentious people who have to try and conjure up an identity for themselves.Vegetarians don,t eat meat, full stop.
They aren't vegetarians. There's no such thing as a vegetarian who eats meat.
Vegetarianism is the practice of a diet that excludes all animal flesh, including poultry, game, fish, shellfish or crustacea, and slaughter by-products.[1] The reasons for choosing vegetarianism may be related to morality, religion, culture, ethics, aesthetics, environment, society, economy, politics, taste, or health.
there's no chicken! i personally dont understand why people call themselves these things, you are either a vegetarian or not!
i'ts like saying "i don't drink" .....well not every day! :)
They have no right to bear the word vegetarian in their title
Pollo vegetarianism! OXYMORON! CONTRADICTORY!
A ''pollo vegetarian'' is a paradox.
To demonstrate, take this idea: You cannot have a gay straight person.
''Pollo-vegetarians'' do not exist.
The Vegetarian Society would agree. Since birds/game are flesh, they can NEVER EVER be considered vegetarian. The same applies to fish & crustacea
Nothing against them personally but wish they wouldn't call themselves that. Like those so-called "vegetarians" you sometimes get who still eat fish!
It's the kind of thing that leads to confusion as to what exactly a vegetarian is.
Haha, I used to be this "POLLO-VEGETARIAN" My friends who were vegan would tease me, I think becoming a FULL vegetarian was great for me, you should try it. But take it slowly and cut back meat little by little. It's a fabulous feeling!
thats just hypocritical
What do I think? That there's no such thing. What the term means essentially is "I don't eat meat-I eat meat".
I believe the correct term is pollotarian, if they need a label. Only eating chicken and no other meats is hardly an accomplishment though. Eating chicken all of the time instead of other meats actually might be a bit healthier if you eat the breast without the skin.
They're trying to keep a foot in both camps.
Vegetarians, as said, can't eat animal flesh, or slaughter by-products, e.g. gelatine used in sweets. As a Vegetarian i abide by this, and don't need make up neologisms to justify eating chicken.
Just like Pescetarian , which i just found out .. is persons who "will not eat the flesh of any animals other than types of seafood"
Reminds me of the Yuppy craze of years ago, when everyone was coining phrases dinky, pinky etc .. pathetic.
I think it is a step in the right direction. Better than eating red meat, but it is still wrong to eat any type of animal flesh. Good people with morals won't do that.
hmm what do I think of Pollo vegetarians?? Well let me start off with yess they are not vegetarians but ya know it's a start. If you thinking of becoming one I wouldn't but I think I know where your coming from. I was in class one day and we were watching a film on slaughter houses I realized I had to become a vegeatarian from that day on but then I realized you can't do that. It's like trying to lose weight. No matter how big you are when you realize you have to lose weight you just can't drop all junk food and be fit you have to take baby steps. So I do see where your coming from but try a bigger step like just eating eggs and shrimp for meats. (personally I think fish is a meat) If you like shrimp there's hundreds of meals to create with shrimp that substitute chicken and I don't care what you vegans say SHRIMP DON'T HAVE FEELINGS AND NEITHER DO UNFERTILIZED EGGS! so try that and then if you want cut that kind of stuff out all together. Have fun!! and don't listen to these pollo bashers. Yes I said it isn't a vegetarian type but I didn't criticize you correct?
a vegetarian who eat chicken ??
hahahahahaha
I've never heard of this. Maybe they are primarily vegetarian most of the time, but being primarily vegetarian is not by definition a vegetarian.
I think that is a good tag. I am a semi vegetarian. I eat meat every other day.
