Hi,

Pineapples contain a lot of soluble fibre. This may help lower cholesterol levels. Also they contain a lot of vitamin C which is good for your immunity.

Fibre also relieves constipation.

Pineapples are particularly beneficial for those wishing to lose weight as they are low in calories.

Fiber and Vitamin C

Sweetheart I don't know but would guess they have fibre which is good for your bowels, which would keep you regular. I hope this helps, I love pineapples also.

Bromelian is very important as well -

Rich of fibers, Carbohydrate and Vitamin C.
Therefore Pineapples are good for constipations indigestion problems because it is rich of Fibers.

if you want protein eat beans and lentils and drink lots of milk. I'm not sure of a pineapples nutritional value but it doesn't have protein.

Pineapple's a good source of Vitamin c and fiber.

Other than that, they don't have much food value, they're mostly water, fiber, and sugar.......

(Don't gorge yourself on fresh pineapple, though. You might end up with mouth or throat sores. Pineapples have an enzyme in them called "Bromelain," that breaks down protein. Basically, it's the same thing as meat tenderizer. That's what causes the "prickly" sensation when you eat it fresh....)
