my nephew is the same, vego since age 9 but very fussy eater. If you are still young, you actuaslly have more tastebuds than we adults do. This helps you to not accidentally eat something bad, which is more dangerous for young kids than adults.

Sounds like you enjoy sweet things. Vegetables can be prepared sweetly, eg hawaiian shish kebab has vegetables but also sweet fruits (pineapple etc- just make them without the meat!!!). You can have Asian sweet/sour dishes (most chinese places do a sweet and sour vegetable dish). Sweet potato is a good one, you can make pies with that or little vegie style pastry rolls. This is what sweet potato looks like in case you haven't seen them before (although there are many varieties and not are all this colour): http://www.flowersdirect.co.il/aecommerc...

But it is important that you eat a balance of foods (whether you are vego or not) so I would encourage you to try and make sure you eat stuff whether you like it or not, such as green leafy vegetables, corn, broccoli and tomato.

Good luck, and don't forget you can ask us for advice whenever you need :)

Get a good vegetarian recipe cookbook. I used to be vegetarian too and am not a great fan of plain vegetables but if you make them into casseroles or other interesting dishes it's easier.

I don't know your tastes to explore your options. Here:

if you don't like veggies- get a crock pot or slow cooker! It makes everything taste fabulous, and veggies are nice and soft and all taste like yummy potato's. :)
Or you can go get some Pillsbury pizza dough(vegan) and make your own pizza! :) There are also lots of yummy Amy's frozen foods and canned goods that are delicious.
The best I think are the vegan pizza- and vegan enchiladas.
But I suggest, you start making food that needs lots of veggies at once- like a stir fry with tofu. I think corn tortillas mask the taste of allot of ingredients. I make tofu fajitas- with peppers, spinach, and lime marinated tofu and my favorite bean or lentil- and you can't taste the veggies. Or you can just grab an odwalla smoothie! They taste like fruit- but has veggies in them too! :) hope this helps

go for indian vegeterian food options
try it out at restuarants first and then if its to your liking go get a recipie book or preferably watch cooking shows. Prob rent some from video store or google it! Also make a good soup, perfect for winter!

and its so hard to avoid carbs- just addictive. Perhaps dont buy foods with high carbs? or even limit yourself or make yourself busy so you dont get a chance to get bored and just junk out!
hope this helped good luck
