No, it's not vegetarian. Chicken powder means to me that it's made from dead chickens.

Dr. McDougall's makes awesome vegan soup cups. It's more expensive than Top Ramen, but it also doesn't have the artificial crap or the animal ingredients in Top Ramen. You just add boiling water, stir, and wait a few minutes.

I've also seen vegan ramen packets at local health food stores.

no they are not vegetarian ; chicken powder is actually chicken.

no they grind up the chickens and add salt to make the powder. you should really feel bad about yourself for eating something that has caused the deaths of so many innocent, delicious... oh they are delicious, but they're innocent!... but they are so very good.... dammit! they're innocent chickens!

but very delicious innocent chickens

They boil the chicken until the water tastes like chicken and then they concentrate it......so no.

The Oriental flavor is vegetarian (usually) and oddly enough, the shrimp flavor is (sometimes, bizarrely) vegetarian. I say usually and sometimes because the different brands of ramen change their flavor packets from time to time, so I'd read the ingredients before using it every time.

However, you know that stuff is complete crap for you. It's just got tons and tons of salt!!

I eat the Top Ramen oriental flavor. They are vegetarian. Not all brands of oriental are though, some contain beef fat. So I just stick with Top Ramen.

"Cooked chicken powder" is exactly what it sounds like. Cooked chicken, in powdered form. Not remotely vegetarian. The Top Ramen Oriental flavor is suitable.

nope they're not unfortunately. even the oriental flavor has meat in it. bah!
