Did being a vegetarian choose you?!
I was 15. After a night of partying my friends were eating spaghetti with meatballs. I started freaking out in my thoughts that there was dead cow being swirled around the pot. Havent touched meat in 5 years!
Answers: If so how?

Similar revelation. I was watching a movie in which a character stirs some beef soup. I'm thinking... "she's cooking flesh...she's going to feed herself chunks of a corpse!" I nearly puked and went from meat-eater to vegetarian instantly.
yea, it kinda did. i grew up in a family full of ravenous carnivores, so i guess switching was just in my heart
umm no i chose vegetarianism.
Yes, a while back I came across videos of animals being abused before slaughter and the actual slaughtering process. The next time I saw a piece of pork on my plate I was disgusted. I gradually stopped eating meat and poultry since. I still eat fish though so I can't call myself a vegetarian yet. Pescetarian for now.
Not really with me I had always loved animals and wanted to do my part in protecting them. I felt like a hypocrite for the longest time so me and my friend decided to become vegetarians and do something about it.
I watched the documentary 'Earthlings' and from that point forward couldnt eat meat.
Never felt better! :-)
LOL Finally someone who "gets" it.
Yes but mine started much earlier. I never liked the taste of animal flesh or eggs & dairy made my tummy hurt as a child. I've always assumed I was a natural Veggie. Turns out I've never had the proper ratio of disgetive acid to eat heavy protiens without outside aids.
I'm a happy mostly Raw vegan.
