How much protein should a vegetarian eat?!


Question: i dont want to "bulk up" or loose wieght as some people siad in my other question that i must not have detialed correctly.

i know i need to get protien. but i wont eat meat. how much protien should i eat. i weigh 190.

The standard method used by nutritionists to estimate our minimum daily protein requirement is:

your weight in pounds x .037 = the grams of protien you should have daily.

In your case: 190 x .037 = 70.3 grams.

The same as a meat eater. Good sources are beans, nuts, and broccoli
