Hi,
There is this book called "Vegan Cupcakes Will Take Over the World," and I think you could just super-size the recipe to make a cake.
Be careful: Some sugars contain animal products, as well as flour. Look for unbleached sugars and flours (or organic).

Thanks for your time and good luck.

Hey, why don't you try these websites:

There is a good selection and some of them sound really tasty...good luck!

Chocolate Fudge Cake

4oz (125g) soya margarine
? pint (300ml) soya milk
2 tbsp of golden syrup
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
8oz (250g) plain flour
2oz (50g) cocoa
8oz (250g) sugar

Melt margarine, syrup and soya milk, except 4 tablespoons, in a saucepan. Dissolve the bicarbonate of soda in remaining soya milk. Sieve all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl. Add the wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Line an 8" (20cm) baking tin with greaseproof paper or baking parchment. Pour the mixture into the tin and bake in oven 180C / 350F / Gas 4 for ? hour. Reduce to 160C / 300F / Gas 3 for 1? hours.

Once cooled, cover with melted dairy-free chocolate. Yum

Did not know that one can put vegans in cakes.

I have THE best lemon slice recipe. I can't be bothered to go downstairs and get it but will do in the morning. Do you have egg substitute? I just use any normal cake recipe and use the substitute to replace the eggs and soy milk to replace any dairy milk. Orgran's No Egg usually works the best.

Vegan cakes???
Is there such thing?
