Vegetarian Lunch?!


Question: What are some things that I could take to school for lunch? I'm tired of the same things over and over again. I need something that can get me the protein and vitamins that I need. Sites would be great... Thanks I appreciate the help! ;D

i have some links for you below. Both sites have a lot of different recipes.

Try cutting the top of a grapefruit off peeling the inside of it out. Then add orange slices, grapes, and apple slices in the inside and put the lid back on. Then bring some sugar and sprinkle it ontop for flavor. =]

avocado,tomato, hummus and crackers

Veggie wraps, tofu, lentils, chick peas. Try making a chick pea salad with oil and vinegar. You don't have to use lettuce if you are tired of it. What about a bean salad as well? Kidney, black bean, navy bean etc. Veg stir fry over thin noodles. Veg samosas, veg spring rolls, veg burgers,veg wieners......the list is endless. Prepare the night before and eat at room temp if you can't heat a burger or veggie dog. Spinach cooked is great at room temp mixed with a little olive oil and feta cheese.

Basil, Tomato and Mozzarella Sandwich
INGREDIENTS
1 (1 pound) loaf Italian bread
6 fresh basil leaves, chopped
2 tomatoes, sliced
4 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

DIRECTIONS
Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise. Layer the basil, tomato slices, and mozzarella cheese between the two halves of bread. Cut into four sandwiches.
In a small dish, stir together the balsamic vinegar and red pepper flakes. Use as a dipping sauce.

Garbanzos are in nearly every grocery store. Smash them up, add cut up celery, pickles and add pepper and some veggie mayo.

Celery and peanut butter
Nuts
Granola

Avacado, lettuce and tomato sandwich. add MorningStar Farms 'bacon' and sprouts if you like them.

Soy Yogurt
Yves Deli Slices for making 'turkey' or 'bologna' sandwiches.

Leftover veggie speghetti rolled up in a tortilla or flat bread.

Hummus, pita bread and a salad.

Quorn 'turkey' roast, with mashed potatoes and a vegetable. Use leftovers on for a 'turkey' sandwich or in soup -
