So I like cheese does that make me a bad person?!

Question: I can't help it, i love cheese. I have cut out chicken, fish, eggs, cow, and pig from my diet. I just can't not eat cheese. I drink soy milk instead of cow milk...but I love cow cheese. Should I repent? I feel guilty.

I have attempted veganism several times with cheese being the hardest to give up. Now I am vegan and do not miss cheese at all.

Some of this has to do with addiction. I'm sure there are hormones and the like in cheese than make you feel a certain way. When you get away from it long enough you won't feel the pull so much.

Even if you fall off the wagon so to speak just get back up, dust yourself off, and when you feel ready, hop back on. No one should be judging for it.

You sound like a sincere person who is trying to do right. In my book good intent is what matters most, especially when you are striving to harm none.

I highly suggest using non diary cheeses. Some of them are just fine. I use rice based cheese slices for deli sandwiches, or melting on not dogs. I buy blocks of vegan cheese for melting on homemade pizzas, on taco salads, or fajitas.

You might be going out to much to eat. Especially if you have non-vegan friends their choices could be making harder on you. If you live in a town with vegetarian on vegan restaurants chose them the majority of the time you go out to eat.

But mostly learn to cook at home. Knowing how to cook can seriously be your best friend in a situation like this. It also saves you a bunch of money.

Try getting a vegan cook book and learning at least one new recipe a week. By the end of one year you'll know how to cook at least 56 different dishes, that is dozens more than most people will ever know.

Best of wishes : )

why so complicated? you either eat cheese or not and stop agonizing over it. to your credit, an animal didn't die in order to get the milk to make the cheese.

Not a bad person, just a addict! -

Look its not about being prefect, its about trying your best, and if you are trying your best, its cool.

Your food choices are more environmentally sustainable than 99% of the population. Buy organic cheeses and stop feeling guilty.

are you trying to be vegan? liking cheese doesn't make you a bad person, why would it anyway? plus it gives you good nutrition.
if you really want, start by cutting down on how much cheese you eat little by little. set a good goal for yourself like no more than 5 grams twice a week, depending on how crazy about it you are. even if you still eat it a little, you are a much better person now that you did something that was very hard for you to do!

You′re a insecure person but Bad person? I don′t think so.

Nah, don't feel to stressed. Just make sure none of the cheese you eat has renit in it because that comes from an animal by product. Look into where the cheese you eat comes from and if they are humane to their animals. If you feel good about the company, then go ahead and have some cheese now and then. They do make the fake cheese, which I am sure you have seen, don't know if that soothes your craving though. Good luck!

the question is what type of cheese... a delicious fondue, a rockeford, racklette... mmmm.... my favourite is italian mozarella, with some tomatoe, salt and olive oil... you can kill me with that. :)... no... you are certanly not guilty..

Are you kidding? Of course you're not a bad person! You just like cheese. Good job on quitting meat!

By the way, when i first became vegan I found it hard to get away from cheese, it's everywhere!

No need for guilt.

i love cheese too. no dont worry bout it.

I am a vegan and I eat cheese alternatives, but i do not think you are a bad person. I have a genetic adrenal illness, and I use medications which were tested on animals, and I sometimes use Excedrine Migraine and Tylenol. I don't feel guilty for that. No one is a purist vegan, we are are all entangled somehow in the process of hurting animals as long as we live in society and pick up a paycheck from anyone who was involved in misuse of animals. My mother and father are vegan, but my mother works at a pharmacy and my father is a research physiologist. They cash their paychecks just like I cash mine, and they drive cars.

Explore and analyze why you feel guilty. Is it self-guilt or is it being projected on you by a holier than thou person or group?

yes that does make you a bad person

who are you repenting 2...??
god put animals on the earth for us to eat......
so????....

yes, it does. shame on you!
you are a cheese fascist!
you should be arrested and put in jail for 100 years!

You should eat organic cheese. Tastes no different than regular cheese, and is just better for you. Don't eat something that a cow was tortured to the limit for her to produce.
