Protein Shakes are not Steroids. There are many kinds of Protein Shakes. Some are soy based, others are based on Dairy protein.
I have been using Isalean Shakes for years as a great source of both protein and minerals. Protein Shakes are the perfect solution to busy on the run mornings; and Isagenix has formulated perfect ones. They are packed with enzyme active, whey protein with twenty amino acids naturally occurring and they are delicious. Rich Chocolate or Vanilla. The whey protein is from cows organically grown in New Zealand where the air, water and soils are far less polluted than our own. Furthermore the milk has not been Pasteurized so the enzymes are active and it has not been plasticized.

Many people believe that they have allergies to milk products when in fact they are dealing with a physiological response to what the pasteurization process does to milk. When you heat milk to that degree the proteins change and become a plastic like substance and the body creates mucus to remove the plastic from the body.

You are old enough to have a dorm room and yet think what you drink effects where you grow hair?

You can drink them, but if you don't exercise enough while eating them you will put on weight in the form of fat.

Protein drinks would enhance muscle growth, especially if you work out. No, do not worry, it does not encourage the growth of facial hair or anything else that would make you look more like a man, apart from those muscles.

haha no it wont make u manly. they are completely fine to drink. esp for breakfast if you cant/dont have time to cook. as long as you get a lowfat kind.. they are good for you because most girls dont get enough protein

You would not believe all the health benefits from a diet high in protein. It is a great way to lose weight because protein will stay in your stomache longer because of the complexity of it being broke down for digestion. It also helps to regulate blood sugars if you're a diabetic. No, drinking a diet high in protein will not cause you to grow facial hair anymore than drinking after a pregnant women will make YOU pregnant.

I drink protein shakes. I work out 5-6 times per week and I have a shake about every two days or so.
You can absolutely drink the shakes without turning into a man. If you're not power lifting or doing body-building type sets with the weights, you will not bulk up.
Just be advised that if you aren't exercising enough, the shakes will work against you by making you gain weight. Just make sure both are balanced.
Good luck!

You don't need protein shakes. Even for someone who works out every day. The average american only needs 4 ounces of protein a day. That's like half a cup of almonds or a cut of meat the size of a deck of playing cards.

The average american eats 10 times the amount of protein they need a day. Which is why we're all having kidney troubles. We do not store protein. The excess we eat goes right down the toilet.

Just opt for whole grains and nuts. Skip the shakes.
