What is the difference between vegetarian and vegan ?!
Answers: I was just curious . I am really not clear on what vegan means .
vegetarians don't consume any meat, but some of them will still eat eggs and dairy.
vegans don't eat any kind of animal product, including meat of course, eggs, dairy, even honey. they also usually don't wear anything made by animal products, such as fur, leather, etc.
vegan, is a lifestyle-
its someone who doesnt wear animals- doesn't eat animals- or anything that comes from an animal (eggs, dairy, honey)
vegetarians eats meat products like eggs and milk.
Vegans does not eat any meat products at all....they are pure vege eaters and they also does not consume mock meat that are soya based.
Vegetarians don't eat anything with a face. They still drink milk and eat eggs and everything though. Just don't eat them. (Fish may or may not be excluded)
Vegans take it to the extreme. They don't eat any meat at all (except for sometimes fish, but that's another story), don't wear any leather, wool, or anything that comes from an animal, and especially don't dissect animals.
Vegetarian = If the animal died for it, it's not ok.
Vegan = Nothing from an animal even if the animal is still living.
Vegan is a modern concept. people who don't take milk, cheese and egg come in these.
Vegetarian is actual vegetarian. meaning not taking egg, meat or fish in any form.Modern ideology believes egg is vegetarian...Any thing with flesh and blood is non -vegetarian.egg is nothing but a living organism growing in it.if u allow it to grow doesn't something living come out of it?so basically it becomes non veg..right??
Same thing as it was a few hours ago when someone asked this question. Here's my answer copied from last time:
You know, if you do a search of questions, you will find that there are some, like this one, that have been asked hundreds of times before...
Vegetarians do not eat meat or any slaughter by-products. If it comes from a dead animal, vegetarians do not eat it (this includes things like lard and tallow, meat broths, gelatin and rennet.)
Vegans do not eat, use, wear or otherwise consume anything of animal origin, whatsoever. They avoid the same things vegetarians avoid and, in addition, avoid things like dairy, eggs, honey, leather, wool, silk, down, fur, etc. Veganism implies a moral concern for animals and most vegans avoid industries which exploit animals for entertainment, like circuses and rodeos.
