Vegetarian Educational Outreach help?!

Question: On Earth Day, I'm planning on doing an Earth Day/Vegetarianism outreach education stand at a popular grocery store, does anyone have any information on that-that could help me? I'm 13 years old, so something that I can do. I have about 200 flyers coming in, and I just received about 50 flyers from PETA about their Fur Is Dead, fur-free campaign, along with a petition. Going door to door would be hard, so how could I do it at the store? What supplies would I need?

Thanks!
It'd be nice if experienced animal activists could respond with details. Thank you!

Thanks for wanting to get active for animals.

You would need permission from the grocery store to have a table inside their store, because it's private property. It might be hard to get permission since grocery stores profit from selling meat.

Some other tabling possibilities:

-Your school (maybe you could work with your school's environmental or animal rights club if there is one)
-Earth Day festivals or fairs in your community
-Concerts and shows
-Public places like parks, busy sidewalks, etc.

These two sites provide good guides to tabling:

Another way to distribute your flyers is to leaflet -- stand in a busy area and just hand out the flyers as people are walking by. I usually prefer leafleting, because I can reach many people who wouldn't approach a table.

Whatever you choose to do, good luck and thanks again for sticking up for animals!
