A vegan diet is healthier than one including meat. You can lose weight safely and quickly by eating a balanced vegan diet, which helps you feel better about yourself. I find that I feel balanced and healthier than I did before going vegan. You also know that no harm has been done to innocent animals, too.
I don't know any cons.
you arent eating a dead animal nor what comes from it (eggs, milk, etc.)
however, its hard to find things to eat out. you often eat the same things
it's kinda expensive buying alternatives
Hey. well theres one thing you are looked at for being diferent and labeled animal lover. you also cant eat the same thing thats traditional on holidays. Your mom or dad will probbaly be stressed about having to make something else for you to eat.Another thing you dont have to eat the nasty sausage. did you know that the outside of a sausage is made of pig intestines! Gross!!!!!!! i would throw up just trying to imagine eating that!
pro- low fat, low cholestoral, heart healthy
cons- always hungry, even after stuffing yourself you are hungry again 10 mins later, time consuming, it is like a full time job thinking about what to eat and analyzing everything you will put into your mouth to see if it has any trace of animal products, very expensive. for the protein you could get from 1.00 worth of meat would cost you about 12.37 in vegan products.
