Should i go vegan?!

Question: About a year ago, I had been "vegetarian" for a few weeks; I cut meat etc out of my diet. Though, my brother owns a BBQ stand (ever drive by and see a huge grill in front of a store? yea, thats what my brother does lol) so my family is totally carnivorous lol and that makes it hard for me to go veg. Anyways, recently, my sister bought some vegan soup. It had only 100 calories and 1 gram of fat, and really low in sodium. and it was shockingly delicious and filling. it had no animal by-product and was so good that i bought some on the internet. I think it should help me with my diet (skinny for summer lol). But do you think that I should go vegan? I told my dad and he said "Again?" and laughed. Yes, the lesbian daughter wants to stop eating meat. I can see the irony.... ;]

So should I go vegan?

Many people go vegan for health reasons. I suggest you do it- if you really feel passionate about it! Check out some animal rights websites, so you can really feel good about your choice. I suggest you buy b12 vegan supplement, and a great vegan cook book if you do. I recommend Vegan with a Vengence. Great Recipes- including pizza. you can also go to goveg.com and find a grocerie list of vegan products and a free vegetarian starter kit.
Don't be pressured by other people- you can get enough protein! Infact, its hard not to if you eat enough veggies. One serving of Tempe has 19 grams! And whats better than sweet and sour tofu! ;)
and milk- well.. one word.. PUS*
You can get your calcium from fortified cereals-veggies, and fortified soy milk/rice milk/almond milk. And no pus! :)
So going vegan- up to you.. if you can stick with it in a healthy way- GO FOR IT! :)

It's your choice, I mean. what if you do, then 5 days later you don't. Its hard to decide.

Nope..

being vegan is really difficult in regards to finding foods u can actually eat and then getting the right amount of nutrients you need. if you are doing it just to lose the weight id say bad idea. women also have problems with iron levels in their blooda nd become aneamic. the easiest way to get iron is thru red meat or a tonne of green leafy veges.
personally id say no dont go vegan. but in the end its your life, your body and your choice.

It's your own decision, but think about your health
it's better to be safe then sorry..
being healthy is better than looking all sexy and stuff
meat is very important and you need proteins but you can get proteins from eggs and milk if you eat that..and take some vitamins that contain some proteins and essential nutrients found in meat if you go veg

Its not very good
because as a vegan you have to of course cut out all animal products, not just meat but also dairy
its not very healthy as you usually don't get enough Vitamin B and protein which can come from meat
Also calcium will be quite hard [it comes from dairy foods]

though I do suggest that if you do go vegan eat lots of dark green vegies and if you want take some supplements that contain Vitamin B so that you know you're getting some

NO
