Is it normal for my knuckles to drag on the ground when I walk?!

Question: It didn't occur to me until today when I was walking down by a remote stream in the woods gathering dingleberries, that my knuckles were dragging and bleeding all over the rocks. I think this may be the reason I get dry patches on my hands, so at least that's figured out. But I don't know if it's normal to be a knuckle dragger. I need your help on this one guys, I'm open to advice.

Are you sure it was blood? Could have been dingleberry juice.
Knuckle dragging is a worry though - I'd visit your local vet if it was me.
