Brother is concerned over vegetarianism?!
Oh well, anyway he appears to be worried. He says I should eat meat, but there's no chance of that happening!
(The only things I eat are fruit &veg (LOTS!), soya and its products, wholegrains, cereals (LOVE these!) nuts, seeds and the occasional yogurt and soy cheese).
I want him to realise I am happy being vegetarian.
How do I explain to him that I feel ok and that he should not worry?
Thanks guys!!

Answers: I eat a balanced vegetarian diet. I don't have any health worries (although I admit I have always been thin!)

My advice: don't concern yourself with explaining or defending your choice at this point. The only way to truly convince a person that you're a happy healthy veg*n is to BE a happy healthy veg*n.
When I first went vegan, my husband was oh-so-sure it was a phase, that I must be harming my health somehow, and that I was for some reason punishing myself through deprivation and choosing wonky and probably tasteless foods. I have never EVER so much as suggested to him that he become vegan, or even vegetarian, and I've always continued to cook him non-vegan foods. A year and a half has passed now, and he realizes that it's not a phase, that I'm healthier than ever, and the food is freaking amazing. He's decided (on his own) that he now wants to become vegetarian and raise our future children vegan. And this is all just by seeing me live my life as a joyful vegan.
Actions speak louder than words, so don't waste your breath. If your brother challenges you in your healthy vegetarianism, just say "watch me."
Best of luck!!!
Keep it simple. Tell him you're happy and healthy and you feel great. Then be happy, healthy and great-feeling - living well is the best way to convince people.
let him.. your food selections are great. keep up the good job.
i'm the same way and VERY healthy.
Just tell him. Say you're happy, healthy, and feel perfectly fine. Show him a book or a website that explains why vegetarians are the way they are and how good it can be for you if you are a vegetarian.
If he doesn't take the bait, just ignore him. Eventually, he'll realize you're perfectly happy and healthy.
Next time you go to the doctor for a physical, have your vitamins and iron levels checked, and he will see that you know how to stay healthy without animal products. Now, if you get dizzy and faint alot, you probably just need more soymilkshakes.
Try to invite him and ask him to have a real nice salad with you.
